OK , we have Blues Clues on the TV and as soon as I am done I'm turnin the shit off. Any way the guy gets mail and it from "they might be giants" and they sing a song that I swear sounded like...drop your pants. *blink* Then they said stomp your feet so I am guessing they accually said clap your hands. Maybe I need to get some husband action very shortly.

on another note I was looking through the People magazine year end type issue and I saw an ad in there for Sketchers sneakers with Christina Aguilliara (sp??) and ok girl, you have officially turn into a certified pornstar pin up. She looked way to sluty for this ad. No offense, she may have some music that's worth an earshot but I

I got all the socks today for the exchange and forgot to get envelopes but thats ok I will find something. I am stoked. Now if you will all excuse me while I get out of work.
Have a safe and Happy New Year!!!

Where have I been?

So I see that I don't post that much. I hope it doesn't deter anyone from perusing my site to see what I am all about or what I have to say.
These last few days have been hectic but not so much that I haven't enjoyed some peace besides.
So I am back to work and its crazy here because of year end crapola, but I will manage.

I know you've all heard about the terrible Tsunami. I don't want to drag it out any more than it already will be by the media, but I just feel so sorry for the people of all the countries that have to suffer the losses. moment of silence.....

So what did all you get from loved ones for Jesuses Birthday?
I got money, gift cards, socks (thank you MIL) and a hot damn cappacino (sp?) machine.
My son got me a cd holder for my car that I needed, and my daughter got me slippers. Apperently the ones I had were to nasty for them to stand and more with all the wood stain spots.
Funny how christmas turned out to be a big holiday of gift giving and recieving for the birth of someone else..
For my birthday I hope you will all remember and buy yourselves something. pshaw.

So anyhow, my girl was sick on Monday, now my son is sick I hope to god I don't get it. I hate being sick.

I am looking forward to the sock exchange. I already have one pair bought and set aside for the lucky person I will be mailing too. or maybe I will keep them for myself and buy other ones.
Well I hope you all had a great Holiday.

Take care and drive safe!!

Don't bite the mailman

So much to say, so much to say...

First of all, its colder than a witches left tit in a brass bra. The high temp for today is 0 (as in ZERO).
I got some things dilevered from the ups guy, which means my christmas shopping is done. Thank god for that. Now I just have to finish my wrapping, which isn't much because I have been doing a litlle here and there and that has totally helped.

My daughters birthday party was great. I had a simple family get together at our home and had just enough chips, veggies, dip, and my spinach dip, cake and ice cream, to make everyone happy. The bonus was that thier was no left overs. hoo ha. oh and everyone also got along.

I have the next week off of work. I know that when its Monday I will be sooo ready to come back just so I can get out of the house and away from the children, and the husband. especially when they bicker all the time and my 2 year old turns into a 5 year old and my 12 year old turns into a 6 year old. Comon, wtf??
Now don't get me wrong, I dearly love my husband and children but we all need a break or some space every now and then, right. Please tell me I am not bad for saying that.

ok ok

My brother rolled his car into a ditch a few weeks ago, and now has to use his girlfriend gas guzzling SUV and get this. She brings him to work, goes back to town, then goes to pick him up. The catch you ask? well he works out at the Uncles farm which is a 20 mile drive for my brother. So they are driving an extra 40 mile per day. Well if your wondering why I am so concerned, I always have to here about "I can't afford this and I can't pay for that, and they shut off my Heat, blah blah blah". I am sick of it.

But I just love these Combos Chedder Cheese crackers. mmmm

Well I batter get back to work. Have a great Holiday.

Where does time go?

Well today is my daughters birthday. She is now officially 2. FYI whoever said "made up" the terrible two thing called it all wrong. I think they should just call it terrible baby syndrome. That way you can just say to a passerby in the store whilst they scream, oh, she just has TBS.
She actually is a good girl that knows she is naughty. Your typical write on the walls when no one is looking and throw the pencil or pen when you come up the stairs and ask "what are you doing?" and then say slyly...naughty.
I was talking with a girl that is pregnant the other day and reminised a little about how she was as a baby. She was a good sleeper off the bat, as was my son. She had a great case of colic from the time she was about 3 weeks old that lasted for about a month and half. Thank god for the husband or I thinkI would have lost my marbles.
She was born with dark hair and was quite ugly when I first saw her. She almost resembled ET. The one thing I did notice was that she had her daddys chin.
The time has just flew by and she has grown into such a healthy, smart, strong little girl. I can't believe how well she talks either. Clear as day you can understand when she whines..."Watch Beauty Beast Mama!" And my Lord this girl has NO FEAR! She wouldn't think twice about jumping down the flight of stairs or from the side table onto the couch wether your sitting their or not. guts, pure guts.
I am so proud to call her mine. Even when her hair looks like she stuck her finger in the socket, which is often.
My Rehanna Rose.

Happy Birthday Sweet Miss Thing.

Now will you please let me brush your hair?

Comfort and Joy

I signed up for the sock exchage threw HipMommas'. I am so excited to get me (and others) some new socks because its so freaking cold here and husband has yet to put the additional heat register in the south part of the kitchen. My "100 things" that's not finished and unpublished, my #11 was that I own many pair of funny socks. My most funny are a pair that have all different shoes on them and they are a dark brownish. They match nothing I have as far as outfits or clothes go but I wear them frequently. I also Have a pair of SpongeBob socks but they may have to take a dirt nap cuz I'm getting holes in the soles.

Now I am such a dork, and not the good kind, that I have no idea how to put up buttons and list links. If there is anyone out there willing to teach an semi old dog a new trick I would be much obliged.

Have a great Y'all

Donners a jackass

OK so I didn't finish watching the whole thing but yesterday my daughter was watching Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, you know that clay funk 1965 one. My MIL bought it for her on vhs. So I started watching it with and for as many times as I have seen it as a child I never before realized how debauched it was.
First of all I didn't remember that Donner was Rudolphs dad. Interesting factiod. Second, they sure did try everything to hide his 'glowing atrocity". Thirdly, all that stupid elf wanted to do is be A DENTIST!
I couldn't take it any more. Thank god the little girl fell asleep before I had to endure any more ignorance from Elfmasters and "deer parents". Come to think of it Santa was kindofa jackass to, slumping in his throne and covering his face when the elves were singing. What gives??

So anyhoo...We went shopping last night, without the assistance of little miss thing. I found alot of nice little gift stuffs. This year we are doing very little gift giving and a lot of Gift Card giving. I thinks its a lot better than getting your brother a pair of flannel pants and his girlfriend ends up wearing them. that would just piss me off. Which reminds me...
One time My husband and I went to Vegas to see a NASCAR race and we bought my brother a Jeff Gordan jacket and I think his fucking EX-GIRLFRIEND ended up with it!??! And she is a crackhead...I swear when I give him a gift next time I'm am going to tell both him and his new girlfriend that if they do ever break up any gift I give to him or "them" is staying with him!

Wishful thinking.

Well we here have had a busy week. Tonight we go to Aunts birthday party at The Wilkin. Free meal for us. mmmm I think I'm gonna order their Rueben, they have good ones there. Hell I may change my mind too.

I should get back to work.

In the lane, snow is glistening

It's snowing.
Do you know how beautiful it is when it snows. It's just lovely.
Its also just a bitch to drive in.
I have to commute to work, well anywhere I go really, and its flat here. It's so freakin flat that on a good day I can see a grain elevator 8 miles away.
My point is that when its flat and snows and then the wind blows the roads become pretty close to ice rinks and visibilty can dwindle to only being able to see a, oh nothing!
Oh well at least tonight when we go to our sons Christmas program my husband can drive.

And I can listen to Christmas music.

A little more info...Please

OK, so I get to work this morning and I find a post it note on my desk that instructs me to line up meetings with clients in another state...OK no problem, but, When? What day?

How in the sam hell am I suppose to know that you don't have to bring your daughter dance class on a certain day? With my luck, thats the day I will pick.
Oh well, I am such a model employee that he will appreciate what ever I can come up with. I am that good. well maybe.

I find it odd that there is little snow on the ground here. The last few years have produced many inches of that white crap by now. New but not improved

Welcome to my blog. This is all new for me, something I have never done before. Like a new frontier. ooo I am so excited I could just do a jig. I question myself on actually doing this, like: Where should I start? What should I say? What kinda freaks are gonna get me? aaahh

OK I'm over it.

I guess I will let you know a little about me:

I am 29, mother of a 13 year old and 2 year old
I have been with my husband for almost 10 years, 4 of those years married
My husband farms grain and sugar beets and I work on a farm (not my husbands) as a "bookkeeper/secretary/pick up your shit and remind you that you have a meeting"
I have trouble with my hair
I love reading blogs espeshally(i know i spelt it wong) FUNNY ones

Lame, i know I will think of more as time goes by, and I would be happy to answer any, some, questions that any one may have.
